Just Want to Say Thanks

Happy New Year dear friends!! 
As each New Year begins, while we look ahead to the new things God has in store, it’s good for us to look back with thankfulness. I would not be where I am today without Him. Through the years, the Lord has been my rock. Just wanted to share this poem of gratitude ~ one of those He blessed me to publish in my book, “Forever Grateful”. Thank You Lord!

Just Want to Say Thanks

I looked through the window of life each day
When the burdens were great and I hardly could pray
If someone would ask of me how I fared
With an answer, I’d smile, but I just couldn’t share

When the tears wouldn’t cease and I felt I had failed
You came through with peace, Your kindness prevailed
You lifted me, Lord, and helped me to stand
On a rock, and You sheltered me there with Your hand

Your Holy Spirit brought comfort and peace
In the midst of my sorrow and gave me relief
Of the pain and the anguish that weighed like a stone
You always were there, I was never alone

Oh Jesus I love You, I love You so much!
So precious to me is Your comforting touch
Your wonderful peace, You always impart
Just want to say “Thanks”, from a grateful heart

Dearest Jesus:

Tenderly, You look into my eyes
Lovingly, You help me to arise
And when I hear the words You speak to me
You banish all my fears and I am free

In all my yesterdays, I’ve seen Your hand
And all along, You’ve helped me Lord to stand
Lord, I can face each day because of You
Propelled by love that’s faithful, kind and true

When burdens weighed me down and heavy loads
You gave me grace and strength along the road
You bid me hand them all to You in prayer
What peace I felt when, at last, I left them there

You Make Me Feel Special

You make me feel special,
You make my heart glad.
You look after me,
my heavenly Dad.

You know what I’m thinking
and hear when I pray.
You speak words of comfort
to guide me each day.

When oft I need someone
to lift up my hands,
You’re always there, Lord –
and You understand.

You show that You care
in the trials I face.
I know I can always
keep trusting Your grace.

You guide my steps, Lord,
as I travel this road.
You give to me rest
as I give you my load.

Dear Father, I’m glad
that to You I belong.
I thank you for blessing
my heart with this song.

At The End of The Day

At the end of the day,

when skies are dark,

in the quiet of night,

as silence fills the air;

before dreams

are deep as the ocean,

forgotten at dawn;

let’s remember,

let’s give thanks

to our Father, God;

always watching over us,

night and day –

never slumbering,

never sleeping;

always listening

for our prayer;

always being there,

our burdens to bear,

His love to share.

Thank You, Lord

for Your tender care

always

JESUS, MY JOY

Dear Friends
I thank you for visiting my blog and for your kind words of encouragement throughout 2015 and  likes of my poetry posts. It’s my joy to share the blessings of the Lord with you.
I pray that throughout 2016, abundant blessings will be yours and that the peace of God which passes all understanding shall sustain you, every passing day.
I pray that the Name of the Lord Jesus Christ may be magnified
and that the light of His glorious gospel may shine into many hearts.
