Dear Friends
I thank you for visiting my blog and for your kind words of encouragement throughout 2015 and  likes of my poetry posts. It’s my joy to share the blessings of the Lord with you.
I pray that throughout 2016, abundant blessings will be yours and that the peace of God which passes all understanding shall sustain you, every passing day.
I pray that the Name of the Lord Jesus Christ may be magnified
and that the light of His glorious gospel may shine into many hearts.

Where Shall I Go?

Where Shall I Go

 A wonderful refuge and shelter is found in the Lord Jesus Christ,
as expressed in my poem “Where Shall I Go?” above.

 “Whom have I in heaven but thee?
and there is none upon earth that I desire beside thee”
(Psalm 73:25)

For Yesterday

For yesterday ..
I thank You, Lord.

There were years that seemed
just like a dream.
There were life-changing scenes.
But I’ve come to know
that You allowed me to go
through that maze,
those difficult days,
You were there always.

You helped me grow,
You kept me strong –
like a tree amidst the storms.

You had hopes for me
when the future I couldn’t see.
When I despaired,
so misty was the view
until I saw You,
looking down from heaven –
showing You care.

Nothing compares with Your love.
You saw my heart and
picked me up.

I owe everything to You.
For all You’ve done for me,
I’m grateful.
Lord, I thank You.

You Make Me Feel Special

You make me feel special,
You make my heart glad.
You look after me,
my heavenly Dad.

You know what I’m thinking
and hear when I pray.
You speak words of comfort
to guide me each day.

When oft I need someone
to hold up my hands,
You’re always there, Lord –
and You understand.

You show that You care
in the trials I face.
I know I can always
keep trusting Your grace.

You guide my steps, Lord,
as I travel this road.
You give to me rest
as I give you my load.

Dear Father, I’m glad that
to You I belong.
I thank you for blessing
my heart with this song.

In The Shadows

sunrise on the mountain

There in the shadows
you feel deep within;
there in the shadows,
just call upon Him.

There in the shadows
His light will shine bright,
taking your darkness
and giving you light.

There in the shadows
when no-one is near;
there in the shadows,
He’ll free you from fear.

There in the shadows
is Jesus the Lord,
with love everlasting
that He can afford.

Under the shadow
of His healing wings,
filled with His wonder
and joy you will sing.

There in the secret place
of the most High,
under His shadow
You’ll ever abide.

Fathomless Love

keeps me day by day,
shines a light within
when my skies are grey,
keeps my heart in tune,
takes me through the night,
points my soul to heaven –
to Jesus, my Light
